David Kopp, Managing Partner and CEO
Mr. Kopp is Chairman of the Board of Directors, Management and Investment Committees of NYPC. He has over two decades of international investment experience. During his career, he has analyzed, structured, and invested in over $10 billion of transactions. He was been active in China for over eight years and completed numerous transactions as an advisor and investor. From 1992 until 2002, Mr. Kopp was President and Chief Investment Officer of Natixis Investment Corp. NIC as well as Head of Investment Banking in North America for Natixis, an international bank with over $1 trillion in assets. NIC focused on LBOs, venture capital, mezzanine, special situations and structured equity and debt investments. A Registered Investment Advisor, he managed a $2 billion portfolio of alternative assets and achieved a 10-year track record which significantly exceeded comparable indices. He previously worked in Corporate Finance as Vice President at Swiss Bank (UBS), Merrill Lynch, Citicorp and Security Pacific (Bank of America). Mr. Kopp has served on the advisory boards of various private equity funds including those affiliated with Brown Brothers Harriman, Carlyle, Citigroup Venture Capital, CSFB, DLJ Merchant Banking, GSCP, Kleinwort Benson, TPG and TWP.

He Xiaofeng, PhD, General Partner
Professor He is a Director and Member of the Investment Committees of NYPC. He serves as Director of the Department of Finance at Peking University and Supervisor of PhD candidates. He received his MA and PhD in Economics from Peking University in 1977. Dr. He has been involved with the research and practice of private equity and investment funds for over 20 years and has served as a director of Zibo Fund, Sanya Real Estate Investment Securities and several public and private Chinese companies. He is the past Financial Secretary of the NDRC commission which drafted China’s policies and regulations regarding investment funds. He is also a Co-Founder and Vice President of the Beijing Private Equity Association and the China Private Equity Association. Dr. He personally trained thousands of Chinese PE professionals and is regarded as the “Father of PE in China”.

Sabrina Guo, General Partner
Ms. Guo is a Director and Member of the Management and Investment Committees of NYPC. She has extensive experience in merchant banking and global corporate finance services including private placements of debt and equity, PIPEs, IPOs, SPACs, underwriting & syndication, M&A, financial restructuring and advisory services. She has arranged public listings for more than 10 Chinese companies by IPO, Reverse Merger, and SPAC and also successfully executed numerous private equity and PIPE investments. Before joining NYPC, Ms. Guo was a Vice President of Westminster Securities Corporation. Previously, she was a Managing Director and Secretary of the Board of China Finance, Inc. She has also worked at Bank of China in New York and CITIC in Beijing. She received a B.A. from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

James O’Neill, General Partner
Mr. O’Neill is a Director and Member of the Management and Investment Committees of NYPC. He has more than 25 years of international investment banking and private equity experience including more than fifteen years of experience in executing China-related investments and advisory assignments. Prior to joining NYPC, he was a Senior Vice President for Trust Company of the West where he helped build and manage a $2.2 billion international private equity platform. His primary responsibility was a $400 million portfolio of China-focused private equity funds where he, among other accomplishments, negotiated the sale of 13 Chinese companies to U.S. private equity firms and consummated strategic investments by multinational companies into Chinese portfolio companies. Prior to TCW, he worked for Dean Witter Reynolds and PaineWebber Incorporated where he executed U.S. and international financing and advisory transactions totaling over $4.5 billion. Mr. O’Neill earned a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Lu Fengyuan, Advisory Partner
Mr. Lu has over 15 years of experience in China’s investment industry. He is currently a senior executive with CITIC Securities, China’s largest brokerage firm, where he is responsible for assisting small and medium size Chinese companies prepare for initial public offerings on Chinese stock exchanges. He provides assistance in the areas of compliance with listing requirements, mergers, reorganizations, and the introduction of private equity investment into these companies. Mr. Lu has previously served as Singapore’s [liaison] to the TEDA Investment Co., Ltd., Director of the China International Finance Investment Project and the General Manager of investment advisors at Beijing Jinfeng Delong Investment Advisory Co., Ltd.
